This English photographer turned my head towards photography. It was only later when I realised by how much. Larry Burrows was a photojournalist and covered the war in Vietnam from 1962 until his death in 1971. He was sadly lost with fellow war photographers, Henri Huet, Kent Potter and Keisaburo Shimamonto when their helicopter was shot down whilst on the way to cover Operation Lam Son 719.

In April 2008 their remains were discovered. They were honoured and interred at the Newseum in Washington D.C.

I have always known him as the ‘Compassionate Photographer”

He needs discovering for yourself –
